CHEESE, French Camembert
*PERISHABLE* This very famous French cheese, Camembert dates back to the 18th century and is named after a Norman village called Camembert. When just made, Camembert is crumbly and soft It gets creamier and over time (usually 2-3 weeks) it develops a white downy edible mold. Eventually the still edible rind turns beige to light brown and the flavor becomes much more assertive. Good Camembert has a delicate soft and earthy salty taste.
