Fregola with Mushrooms
*PERISHABLE* From Sardinia, this traditional pasta is shaped like tiny beads and toasted to different degrees of doneness. This process gives it a firm "al dente" texture and colorful look. In Sardinia it is most often cooked with clams in a light tomato sauce. We prepare it in a light cream sauce with mushrooms and shallots. Also available to prepare at home. Look for item # 770201. Remember, as with all our prepared entrees, allow to rest and settle for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
