Rustic terracotta in traditional Mediterranean colors from Breda, Catalonia and similar in shape to a casserole dish and glazed on the inside to retain moisture and cooking liquids, these can be used in place of a sauce pan or skillet and can also be used as a paella pan or as an oven casserole. Holds a slow and steady heat, allowing foods to cook gently and evenly and retains heat when removed from the stove or oven allowing cooking to continue at the table for a dramatic presentation.
